123 Folder scan use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The folder scan will scan which sub folders and files are in the requested folder. No other files/or folders are scanned. No files are downloaded either. To emphasize the API doesn’t provide access to the content of the file it self. Only to the file attributes.
View and manage spreadsheets that this application has been installed in

The add-on needs access to the current (open) spreadsheet. No access to any other Spreadsheet on your Google Drive is allowed or needed. The access to the current open spreadsheet is needed to write the output of the scan to the Spreadsheet.

You can schedule the script to run e.g. every week to get an updated list of files
Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications

The add-on runs in a sidebar and uses a prompt to display info.
Each Google add-on also gets the userinfo.email and userinfo.profile scope. Your email address is captured to determine if you are a (free) @gmail.com user or a Google Workspace user. This information is used to determine the available Google features (e.g. script run time). Your email address might also be used to inform you about the product features / updates.
No other information is used. Your data remains your data. Your data is not read by humans and not used for any other purpose than to serve you the add-on functionality with the best experience possible.
